How do I book?

Booking is via our online booking system.

What time is pick up/drop off the motorhome?

Motor homes can be collected from 3 pm on the first day of rental.
(Please allow an hour for the handover)

On the last day of rental motorhomes must to be returned by 11am.
(please allow up to half an hour for the PCI (post inspection check)

Depending on our bookings and what vehicles we have available we may be able to be flexible on these times.

Motorhomes can be dropped on a Sunday between the hours of 3-4pm (subject to availability) An extra fee applies.

Delays

Motorhomes that are returned later than 11am will incur a charge of £100 per hour.

Whilst we will try our upmost to have the motorhomes ready for the advised collection time, sometimes circumstances beyond our control do arise.

I’m not sure how things work in a motorhome, will you help?

You will be shown how things work with your motorhome during the handover. Please allow up to an hour for the handover.

The handover will include: a PCI (pre checkout inspection, workings of the motorhome and to complete the paperwork)

On returning the motorhome the vehicle PCI will be carried out. Please allow up to half an hour for this handover.
In the motorhome there will be a handbook detailing how things work. If you are still unsure or struggling please do give us a ring.

Do you allow dogs?

We do have a pet friendly vehicle available.

There is an extra change of £40 to cover additional valeting fees.

We allow a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs.

We kindly ask that pets are not allowed on the upholstery.

We recommend that pets are not left alone in the motorhome and are secured whilst travelling.

What does the hire price include?

The hire price includes unlimited mileage and is insured for one person (lead guest).

  • Glasses, crockery- plates, bowls, mugs

  • Basic first aid kit
  • Warning triangle, high vis vest
  • Levelling ramps
  • Toilet chemicals
  • Electric hook up lead
  • Fresh water hose
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Dustpan and brush

You will be provided with an instruction booklet which will provide emergency details and instructions on how things work.

Optional extras

  • Duvets and pillows can be provided if requested ( a fee applies) Please call to discuss your requirements.
  • Refill pack- We offer a refill package which means that you can return the motorhome empty of diesel, gas and AdBlue and we will refill all of them for a single charge of £99.00. The refill package must be pre-booked and pre-paid for in advance and prior to your departure

What deposit is required?

To secure a booking we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the hire cost.

The balance is payable at least 6 weeks before the start of the hire period.

How does the security deposit work?

A refundable security deposit is required for all hire periods. It is payable on collection of the motorhome.

We require a hold to be put on a credit or debit card of £1000 as a security deposit.

Security deposits will be increased for festivals and some events. If you are hiring the motorhome for a festival and sporting/special event it must be declared at the time of booking.

The security deposit will be released or the open security payment cancelled within 7 working days of the vehicle being returned to the depot providing every is left satisfactory and there have been no fines/damages or extra charges incurred. It will not be refunded on return of the motorhome.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments can be made via credit or debit card and bank transfer.

Cash or cheque payments will not be accepted.

Can I travel to Europe?

We do not currently offer travel to Europe or to Ireland.

What does the insurance cover?

Our insurance covers one driver.

Additional drivers can be added at an additional cost of £7 per person, per night for people with a clean license (max of 2 additional drivers)

Who can drive the motorhome?

  • Drivers aged 25-70 who have at least 3 years driving experience.
  • Has not had their licence suspended for any period within the last three years.
  • Has not been involved in more than one fault incident within the last three years.
  • Has no more than two convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction.
  • Has not obtained a BA,DD or UT conviction

Insurance for over 70’s drivers 71-75 years may be arranged by special request with agreement from our insurer.

Any driving endorsements, convictions and medical conditions must be declared at the time of booking.

If drivers do have points on their license there is an additional fee: (UK licenses only; £2.00 per point per night)

What happens if I break down?

Emergency breakdown details are provided in the booklet located in the motorhire.

Please note: the breakdown cover is for mechanical breakdown and not faults with the habitation area.

What documents do I need to provide?

Prior to the hire period (up to 21 days before) a DVLA check will be carried out on the driving license of each person/s intending to drive the motorhome. To carry out this we need…

We also require two proofs of address of all person/s intending to drive the motorhome- bank statement, credit card statement, utility bill (dated within 3 months) These can be emailed prior to collection to speed up the handover.

A copy of your driving license will need to be shown on pick up of the motorhome showing the same address as the proof.
